Adriana Barajas
Adriana Barajas is a true Altar Valley All-Star! Last school year, she took on the role of Site Coordinator for both the before and after school 21st Century Programs at Robles Elementary School. Her responsibilities included scheduling classes, providing staff with supplies, managing payroll, organizing paperwork, data entry, finding coverage for absent staff, and ensuring student safety. Under her leadership, Robles exceeded the student attendance goal for the 21st CCLC Program. We're thrilled that she has agreed to be the Site Coordinator again this year.
Additionally, during our summer program, Adriana played a key role in delivering meals to community members who couldn't make it to campus. She extended our service period to continue providing healthy meals to children in need. Despite the extreme heat, Adriana could be found at the Taylor Lane bus stop, ensuring we reached as many families as possible. She also included the Community Center in the summer meal program, adding 30 more children per day. Adriana is a valuable member of our Food Service Team and the Altar Valley Community and School District.
